One of the very first recipients of the Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) welcomes you to discover the wellness and heightened quality of life available through the ancient gifts of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.
Clinical experience includes working with cancer patients in an integrated medical environment at St. Vincent Medical Center in Los Angeles alongside oncologists and other medical professionals from 2000 to 2003.
Dr. Dupre is also board certified in acupuncture orthopedics which provides excellent clinical results in relief for muscular and skeletal pains. She graduated from SAMRA University in 2000 with a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine degree. Donna earned her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in 2007
Dr. Dupre practices with an integrative philosophy using acupuncture, herbs, supplements, diet, lifestyle, functional blood chemistry analysis. Functional medicine is a preventative approach to blood work analysis. Early intervention and lifestyle modification can prevent serious health issues and restore the body to ultimate health and wellness.
Dr. Dupre is the first to combine acupuncture with neurofeedback brain training to help balance body and mind. Acupuncture is combined with neurofeedback to help with insomnia, anxiety, depression, fatigue, irritability, brain fog, chemo-brain, menopause brain, post traumatic stress, ADHD, head trauma, and stress. During acupuncture/neurofeedback sessions tiny sensors are placed on the head and ears to record brain waves. You can watch a fractal light show or just listen to music. Acupuncture needles are inserted as indicated according to specific TCM pattern diagnosis and treatment plan. The music and visual images respond to your brain patterns and unproductive brain patterns create interruptions in music or visual light. The combination of acupuncture with neurofeedback has a synergistic effect leaving you feeling relaxed and energized.
Dr. Dupre also utilizes the benefits of micro-current acupuncture for facial rejuvenation, an exciting new application of acupuncture to esthetics.
